Q:Hey I saw you made a post about script supervising - I'm script supervising on a film next week as part of my uni course and I'm kind of shitting myself right now because I have no clue what i'm doing tbh.. Do you have any tips? All i've done so far is a script breakdown - what else do i need to prepare before the shoot? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks :)
When your on set, be sure to take pictures of every set up from the monitor so you can match back later. It’s also good to time each scene when breaking down the script and applying that time to each take on set. Bring a stopwatch and a camera. A phone can do both, but it’s good to have a devise that serves its own independent purpose. If somethings not matching be sure to address this not just to the director, but if need be the talent and art director.
